If needed, our 3L Dry-Tech Pro garments can be washed as long as you remember to carefully follow the instructions below. Creating high quality products that are made to last is our way of being more eco-friendly. But only you can take care of your own Blæst.

How to wash 3layer garments

  1. Close all zippers, buttons and velcro. Remove all reflexes, and turn the jacket inside out. Remember to close the zipper in front.
  2. Wash at 30º.
  3. Use a mild detergent, but no bleach or softening or rinsing agents, as they can damage the water-resistant properties and colours of the fabric.
  4. Rinse the garment twice, before hanging it up to dry.

How to wash down garments

  1. Close all zippers, buttons and velcro. Remove all reflexes, and turn the jacket inside out. Remember to close the zipper in front.
  2. Wash the jacket alone, and preferably with tumble dryer balls. Feel free to use a down program, if your machine does not have this, a gentle washing program can be used.
  3. Wash at 30º.
  4. Use a mild detergent, but no bleach or softening or rinsing agents, as they can damage the water-resistant properties and colours of the fabric.
  5. Rinse the garment twice, and spin before drying. Tumble dry the garment on low temperature using dryer balls. Shake well in between sequences of drying to get the garment totally dry. You can also hang it up to dry. Shake and puff up the jacket every half hour until the jacket is completely dry

As an add-on you can use water repellent spray on the outside of the garment after washing, for optimal water-resistance. Though this has nothing to do with the waterproof quality of the garment, it does make it easier for water to roll off the outer fabric.

And remember. When it rains, keep your friends close, but your Blæst closer.
